Emil Nashed
Emil Nashed is a seasoned research and development (R&D) management executive with over 25 years of experience. At Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), he contributes significantly to the advancement of dairy products and technology.
Before joining DMI, Emil held senior-level positions at prominent companies, including Farmland Dairy, Parmalat S.p.A., and Grupo Lala. His extensive experience includes managing and leading R&D teams for both national and international companies. Throughout his career, Emil has been instrumental in developing and introducing numerous innovative products, processes, and packages.
Emil pioneered the development of value-added fluid milk and health and wellness fortified milk products. He introduced the first natural flavor dairy coffee creamers to the market. He also led the R&D team in the reformulation and development of natural drinkable yogurt, dairy desserts, and other fermented dairy products.
Emil has been with DMI for 10 years. In his current role, he leads the product research program, driving innovation and sales in dairy products and ingredients. He provides strategic leadership to the product research team and works to strengthen and expand universities’ Dairy Research Centers network.
Emil also spearheaded the creation of breakthrough technology, resulting in four patents for encapsulating health and wellness bioactive dairy ingredients. He oversees leading researchers in dairy science and technology and collaborates with DMI’s domestic and international partners, including KFC, Domino’s, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, General Mills, and Amazon.
Emil plays a crucial role in shaping DMI's growth strategy, both nationally and internationally. His strategic vision and leadership have been key to DMI’s ongoing success and innovation in the dairy industry.
